Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that affects the hair follicles causing painful, recurring boils and abscesses, purulent discharge, sinuses and scarring. Hidradenitis suppurativa typically presents in areas of the body with sweat glands, such as the armpits, underneath the breasts and the groin although other areas may be also affected.
