Mr O’Toole trained in Plastic Surgery in Oxford, Paris and Sydney. He is recognised as an expert in the field of ear reconstruction, particularly in the treatment of microtia and traumatic defects. He frequently performs minor surgery of the ear such as pinnaplasty and earlobe reductions. Other surgical interests include the treatment of facial skin lesions including cancers in cosmetically sensitive areas, eyelid surgery, Botox treatments, liposuction and body contouring.
Mr O’Toole also performs hand surgery frequently, in trauma cases and for conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, mallet finger and dupuytren’s disease.
His NHS practice is at the Royal Free NHS Trust. He is a full member of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons and is fully accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons and the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
