Barbara Jemec is a Plastic Surgeon with a special interest in Hand Surgery, Skin malignancies & Body Aesthetic surgery. She is a NHS Consultant in Plastic Surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital, where she forms part of the Multi Disciplinary teams looking after Hand surgery and Skin Cancer patients.
Her research on Dupuytren’s disease earned her a M.D. from the University of London in 2000 and she sits on a variety of National Societies’ Councils: BAPRAS (British Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery), BSSH (British Society for Surgery of the Hand) and RSM (Royal Society of Medicine). She is also a full member of BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons).
